C & S Kansas Whitetails Youth hunt Fall 2011

We started out the youth season with Jessica Curto, age 12, from California and Lane Mauch, age 10, from Colorado. Deer were plentyfull as both young hunters were fortunate enough to tag out on day one!

Jessica Curto offically becomes a "California Killer"! Her 2 older sisters had both been out in past years to take their first deer, and now it was Jessica's turn. This buck came out with several others right before dark and despite having to switch window several times in the blind. Jessica put a very fatal shot on this deer and we watched it go down right in front of us in the field! Congrats on your first buck Jessica!
